Oahu is a beautiful island waiting to be discovered, and what better way to see it than in a campervan!

Oahu is the most visited island in Hawaii and gets millions of visitors each year. You’ll never find an end to the tourist attractions on the island! But the best part of Oahu is the beauty of the nature, and with an Oahu campervan rental you can go from watching the sunset to looking at the stars and then seeing the sunrise – all without going back to a hotel.

You also get to combine your vehicle rental and accommodation costs into one! If you’re looking for a cheap campervan rental, we’ve got you covered with the 10 best Oahu camper van rentals for under $100.

Where to Find an Oahu Campervan Rental

There isn’t really one dominant campervan rental company on Oahu but there are a lot of smaller companies so it can be hard to know which ones are the best. We’ve gone through and looked at which ones have the highest ratings and reasonable prices to help you choose which to rent.

Fortunately, all of them rent through the same RV rental platform and through our partnership you can follow the links below and use the code “LEMONDROP” at checkout to get 10% off your booking!

Here you’ll find all the best campervan and rooftop tent rentals on Oahu:

The Cost of Campervan Rentals on Oahu

The cost of campervan rentals on Oahu can vary pretty significantly. To give you an idea, a minivan with an inflatable mattress in the back will go for about $50. If you want to go with a full loaded luxury campervan it will run you $300+. This post is focused on the cheapest campervan rentals and I think we’ve tracked down all the best options that are sub-$100.

10 Best Oahu Camper Van Rentals on a Budget

If you want to experience the “real” Oahu, a campervan is a great to do that. The following 10 campervans are all (as of 2024) under $100/night! And remember to use code LEMONDROP at checkout to get an extra 10% off.

This truck camper is unreal and the price is the best you’ll find for a truck with a rooftop tent. The roofnest is one of our favorites because it has a hard shell when it’s closed, but folds open to give you plenty of space to sleep. With this truck you can actually seat 5 and sleep 4.

It actually gets even better: Some of the amenities include a hammock, pelican cooler, awning, 4 gallon water tank, towels, blankets, machete and so much more. Whether you’re looking for the best surf, hikes and waterfalls or beautiful beaches, this rig has got you covered.

Tips for your choosing your Oahu Camper Rental

Although price is important, there are a few other things that you’ll want to keep in mind when choosing your camper rental. Here are some things to keep in mind?

  • Do I want to stay at campgrounds that don’t allow campervans?

We have a list of our favorite campgrounds that allow campervans on Oahu, but if you want to stay somewhere else, you’ll need to pitch a tent. This is true of all the county campgrounds, but keep in mind that Oahu does have a large homeless population that tends to camp out at some of these beach park campgrounds .

  • How many of us are traveling together?

Many campervans can only take 2 or 4 people. If you have a larger group, you may need to rent multiple campervans and you’ll also need to book far in advance as the best campgrounds can fill up for months ahead of time.

  • Are we really going to cook?

When I’m on vacation, I tend to do a lot more eating out and a lot less cooking. If you don’t need to cook, then you don’t need to worry about the kitchen setup which is not always included (especially with the cheapest campervan options).

That’s about it! I hope you have an amazing visit to Oahu! Aloha!
